Export data from all C3D files in directory or subdirectory.
In this version, all of the data that store in POINT section import to the 3D Points list, in the previous version the markers with no residual and mask was rejected. You can click on “All data”check box and import all of the data or just real markers. Another data such as virtual marker, etc listed with * in the 3D Points list.
Click on Open C3D button and select your file from your directory. When the file is imported correctly all of the video data listed on the “3D Points” list and all of the analog data listed on the “Analog data” list. By selecting an item from lists, data is display on chart, if you want to display multi items on chart hold Shift key on your keyboard and select items.
Also, the force plate drop box is fill, if the force plate data extracted correctly from file. For each force plate was sued an item create in dropdown list and type of each show in parenthesis.
Some of data that stored on the C3D file are not related to reflective marker position such as Angle, Power, Virtual markers and etc. If you want to import all of them click on “All Data” checkbox and checked it.
Click on Details button, a new page is opened that show some if C3D file’s header data such as Number of Markers, Analog Channels, Video Sampling Rate and etc.
Click on Scale button, a new page is opened (Fig3). In this page you can change scale, offset, gain and unit value for each analog channel. Select a value from a list then change the value in textbox and click on save button. These change do not apply on C3D file.
If the force plate data extracted correctly, you can click on the “Process” button to calculate FX, FY, FZ, MX, MY, MZ, COPx and COPy for each plate. The calculated Center of pressure(COP) position transform from force plate coordinate system to Motion capture coordinate system.
Export ASCII file:
By click on Export ASCII button, a new page is opened (Fig4). In this page you can select delimited character and the data that you need to export.
You can generate compatible experimental data for Opensim software With C3D TOOLs. By click on the Export TRC button, you can export all of the marker position as a TRC file.
Export Motion File(.mot):
Another experimental data that you need to solve invers dynamic problem in Opensim is mot file, this file include ground reaction force , moment and COP position. By click on the Export Motion File, you can export mot file.
